Mr. John Forman seems to blame the Democrats for the government shutdown in his letter to the editor on Oct.25.

This is what Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota had to say about the government shutdown: “We’re very excited. It’s exactly what we wanted, and we got it.”

This quote tells me that Michele Bachmann and her Tea Party cohorts were responsible for the government shutdown.

They should get all the credit for it.
