MINNEAPOLIS — A group working to stop gun violence is holding a summit in Minneapolis to talk about preventing violence and creating safe communities.
Protect Minnesota is hosting its summit on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., at Shiloh Temple International Ministries in Minneapolis.
There will be several sessions throughout the day, including one that will take a deep look at gun policies in Minnesota, and one on grassroots lobbying.
Other sessions will address ways to change the narrative around gun violence prevention, and how advocates can use personal stories to create change.
