Lightning strikes house

Albert Lea police and firefighters received a report of a house that was struck by lightning at 905 Lakeview Blvd. at 6:52 p.m. Friday, according to the Albert Lea Fire Department. The strike blew a hole in the roof of the house that was estimated to be 4 feet long by 12 inches wide.
