ROCHESTER — Rochester police said a man who didn’t want to pay postage due on a package allegedly attacked a mail carrier over the weekend.
The carrier was trying to deliver the package to a Rochester home Saturday morning. Police said the 55-year-old man didn’t want to pay the postage due, so he put the carrier in a bear hug and ripped the package from him.
The letter carrier wasn’t hurt. The man was cited for disorderly conduct.
