Albert Lea and Austin will hold community health care forums later this month.

Albert Lea’s Marion Ross Performing Arts Center will host one Oct. 29, and Austin’s Paramount Theatre on Oct. 28. Both forums will begin at 5:30 p.m.

CEO Mark Ciota and Chief Administrative Officer Steve Waldhoff will discuss national health care changes, a new model of community care, and the medical centers’ long-term facility plans.

“Our leadership team wants to share with you what we can about the rapid changes we are experiencing in health care,” Ciota said in a press release. “Just as importantly, we want to hear from you with your concerns and questions. With the numerous challenges facing the health care industry, leaders across the country are redefining, realigning, and retooling organizations so they can meet the ongoing needs of patients. And that’s exactly what we have to do to in Albert Lea and Austin as well.”

Questions can be submitted at mayoclinichealthsystem.org, clicking on Albert Lea or Austin, and “Classes and Events”; people can also ask questions at the events.

The Paramount Theatre is at 125 Fourth Ave. NE, Austin, and the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center is at 147 N. Broadway Ave., Albert Lea.
