Pledge is to flag, not some god

Good morning, America. We the people of this nation had better wake up. We have shunned our atheist service veterans for 59 years.

We stand, put our hands over our hearts and recite this hypocritical pledge: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Those atheist service men fought and some died for their flag, their country and your right to believe in your gods.

This hypocritical pledge is a disrespectful spit into the faces of those men.

It also breaks the 16th commandment, bearing false witness against your neighbors’ religious beliefs. Is this what your gods taught you? They are being treated as outcasts.

How can a nation be indivisible under a god when it is divided between the atheists who believe in their flag, their country and those who believe in gods?

This idea has been taught in our schools and churches for 59 years.

We are the people of one nation indivisible under one flag and president.

Sleep well tonight.
