Students take trip to pumpkin patch
Seventy-one kindergartners from Hawthorne Elementary School attended Chad and Lisa Peterson’s pumpkin patch in Albert Lea. The kids enjoyed their time going through the corn maze and running through the pumpkin patch trying to find the perfect pumpkin. The classes want to thank the Peterson family for allowing them to visit on off hours and for providing pumpkins for a great price. The class also wants to give special thanks to the Hawthorne Parent Teacher Organization for paying the bus cost and for allowing each kindergartner to get a pumpkin.
