Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 S. Washington Ave. in Albert Lea, will host a soup, pie and dessert event on Thursday. Serving times are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Menu includes potato ham soup, chili, chicken noodle soup, wild rice soup and dessert. There will also be lefse for sale.

Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 to 10 and free for children under age 3.

Proceeds go to local charities and eliminating world hunger.
