Youth for Christ will host Scoops for Scholarships from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Youth for Christ building, 116 W. Clark St. There will be all you can eat soups from local businesses and ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. The proceeds go toward youth scholarship accounts for trips, camps and events.
