Faith Baptist Church in Albert Lea will host a conference starting Nov. 17.

The theme of the conference is “Yes, There’s Still Hope.” The speaker will be Ernie Schmidt.

Schmidt, an Illinois native, has done extensive theological training since he graduated in 1967 from the Pillbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna. Schmidt recently retired from from his dean position at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. He plans to hold conferences and teach in his spare time.

The conference starts on Nov. 17 with meetings at 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. The conference continues that week with 7 p.m. meetings each day from Nov. 18-22.

All are welcome to attend, and there is no cost.
