Scott Gillis from Creation Ministries International (www.creation.com) is coming to our area. He will be speaking at 8 a.m. Sunday at Round Prairie Lutheran Church of rural Glenville, at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in London and at 7 p.m. at Faith Church in Austin. He will be sharing at 7 p.m. Monday at Knowlton Auditorium in the Austin High School.

Scott’s presentation will show how scientific evidence, when properly understood, confirms the Bible’s account of creation and a worldwide flood. A common mistake that many people make is to confuse natural selection (the variety of features that develop in a certain kind of animal when that animal is in different environments) with evolution (the changing of one kind of animal into a totally different kind of animal). Natural selection is real science. Evolution is pure conjecture.
