ROSE CREEK — Firefighters responded to a house fire late Tuesday night in Rose Creek.

Firefighters were called to the house of Dave and Sue Cox at 8:50 p.m. after flames were reported by the occupants of the house next door.

“I heard a window break and went out on the deck,” said Brad Ross who called 911. “I saw the flames in the upstairs window.”

A deputy who arrived there also reported heavy flames.

The Coxes, who lived there with their three children according to neighbors, all escaped the house.

A cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
