Obamacare will be well received

In answer to a letter on Nov. 22 titled “Does he actually watch Fox News?” I want to thank you for putting my name up in the newspaper again. I know I am the most-hated person in Albert Lea by you Fox News-addicted, Tea Party, far-right Republicans. I want you to know that I wear this crown proudly. I have been hoping someone would come along and knock me off my throne, but they haven’t.
You say in your letter that I get my Fox News off of MSNBC. This is wrong. I said in one of my previous letters that I have been a Fox News addict since Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly talked about President Bill Clinton being a murderer until their evidence all fizzled out. You misunderstood what I said in my Nov. 17 letter about how Fox News made a big issue about how much gas was when Obama took office and how it went up to $4 a gallon. Which was implying that it was Obama’s fault for it going up. Now that it is down around $3 a gallon, they don’t say a word. They give him blame, but they won’t give him credit.
You also talked about how our grandkids are going to be saddled with our national debt that’s going to rise because of Obamacare. By that time they will have all the kinks out of Obamacare and it will be well received just like Social Security and Medicare.
They won’t be dropped from their medical insurance because they developed cancer or any other problem that might occur. The way it is now if a person takes out medical insurance at 25 and reaches 40 years old and has developed a medical problem, he or she is dropped from the policy or the rates are sky rocketed. This won’t happen under Obamacare. This type of information you won’t get on Fox News.
Obama asked the Republicans to come up with a universal health care system of their own, but none of them did. He has been asking them to help get the present health care system up and going but all they want to do is sabotage it.
It has been brought to light that the Koch Brothers have hired an outfit down in Florida to do all it can to sabotage the affordable health care website. It is well known that the Koch Brothers are one of the largest contributors to the Republican Party. Obama already has the health system and the insurance companies fighting against Obamacare. They know they won’t be able to control the cost of health care after Obamacare gets going.
Again I would like to suggest to everyone to watch Fox News and then watch “The Ed Show” on MSNBC at 4 p.m. each weekday to get the straight facts. I enjoy talking politics with my Republican friends, but with those far-righters I enjoy it the more they get mean and nasty.
