Albert Lea resident Rudolph Anderson’s granddaughter Sara Anderson of Savage was part of the 2013 national champion women’s rugby team at Winona State, according to a press release.

The Black Katt rugby team won its first Division II title Dec. 8 in Lake Myrtle Florida with a 28-14 win over Notre Dame.
