MINNEAPOLIS — Authorities at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport said a suspicious package that caused a brief evacuation of a terminal last week did not contain a propane tank, as initially reported. The Humphrey terminal was shut down for about two hours last Friday after a box was discovered in the ticketing lobby. The woman who left the box behind was taken off a plane and questioned by airport police.

Airport spokeswoman Melissa Scovronski says the woman should not have left the package in the airport.

Scovronski said in the box was a propane burner and stand, which is not prohibited. But she said leaving unattended packages at an airport terminal is prohibited.
