ST. CLOUD  — St. Cloud police said a 15-year-old boy is in custody after he threw hot grease at his mother.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon. Police said the boy took a pan that was frying hamburger, threw the grease and fled.

The boy was taken to Prairie Lakes Juvenile Detention Facility in Willmar. He is accused of assault and domestic assault.

Police don’t know the extent of injuries to the mother.
