Craig E. Larson died at his home in Albert Lea on Sunday, Nov. 10, from heart-related issues.
A memorial service for Craig will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, with lunch following. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. The gatherings will be at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. A private interment will be at Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
Craig was born on Aug. 19, 1956, the son of Corwin and Doris (Heine) Larson, Albert Lea. His parents presented him for baptism, and he was confirmed in his faith at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
Craig attended the Albert Lea school system and completed the refrigeration program at
Albert Lea Vo-Tech. He trained for and received his pilot’s license. Craig enlisted in the U.S. Army, served our country in Europe and was honorably discharged.
He also enjoyed photography, working with computers and small motors. During his life, Craig tried to combine these interests with his jobs. He manufactured items on a small scale and marketed them online.
Craig will be missed by his sister Jodi and her husband Larry Porter of Northwood; niece Kathy Porter, Northfield; nephew John Porter, Northwood; his god-daughter Amy Boullion of Blooming Prairie; as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Corwin and Doris Larson.
