ST. PAUL — Gov. Mark Dayton has extended an executive order that loosens some restrictions on transporting propane in Minnesota because of a shortage of the gas.
The order eases regulation of the hours that propane can be transported. Dayton’s order says the state’s main source of propane, the Cochin pipeline, is shut down for repairs until Dec. 17.
Drivers transporting propane are still required to meet certain qualifications and have the appropriate license.
