Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at the Korner Mart gas station at the intersection of West Main Street and First Avenue in Albert Lea at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

 

Motorist gases up and goes

A gas drive-off was reported at 116 Bridge Ave. at 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to Albert Lea police. The vehicle was described as a black or blue Chevrolet that was driven by a woman. About $15 was taken.

 

Man cited for bus violation

Albert Lea police cited Ah Mwee, 37, for a school bus stop arm violation at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and East Richway Drive at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Man arrested for shoplifting, drug violations

Albert Lea police arrested Daniel Edward Shaw, 26, for shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave.

 

Items missing

A snowblower was reported stolen from a shed at Cedar Valley Services, 1839 S.E. Broadway, Albert Lea, at 9:08 a.m. Tuesday.

Pills were reported missing from 205 N. Ermina Ave. at 7:56 p.m. Tuesday.

 

2 cited for paraphernalia

Police cited Shelbi Janelle Iverson, 21, for small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and Karizma Lorraine Hamberg, 20, for drug paraphernalia after receiving a noise complaint at 124 E. Third St. in Albert Lea at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday.
