MINNEAPOLIS — An Eden Prairie man involved in an allegedly drunken crash that killed his passenger in August has been charged with three counts of criminal vehicular homicide.
Hennepin County prosecutors said 46-year-old Randoll Guy Sloan was arrested and charged Friday.
The counts are all for criminal vehicular homicide, but one is for driving under the influence of alcohol, another is for driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and the third for driving in a grossly negligent manner.
Prosecutors said Sloan and Kyle Boline were driving Aug. 1 when their convertible missed a curve, hit a power pole and flipped over.
The criminal complaint says Sloan’s blood-alcohol level was 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal limit.
It wasn’t immediately clear Saturday whether Sloan had an attorney.
