Weiss & Irvine

Amanda Weiss and Andrew Irvine of Albert Lea were married at 4 p.m. Nov. 2, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Dwight Netzer performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Wendy Weiss of Glenville. Grandparents are Russel and Eva Fredrickson of Albert Lea and the late Sharon and Wayne Weiss of Glenville.

The groom is the son of Larry and Janice Irvine. Grandparents are Bernice and the late Howard Germain of Winnebago and the late Betty and Durward Irvine of Amboy.

The maid of honor was Nicole Racciatti, friend of the bride, of Minneapolis. Bridesmaids were Molly Stark, friend of the bride, of St. Paul, Samantha Halsey, friend of the bride, of Guthrie Center, Iowa, Andrea Irvine, sister of the groom, of St. Paul, and Heidi McGill, sister of the groom, of Albert Lea. Junior bridesmaid was Macy Thorson, friend of the bride and daughter of Megan and Judd Thorson of Glenville. Flower girls were Bailey Thorson, friend of the bride and daughter of Megan and Judd Thorson of Glenville, and Natalie Murphy, friend of the bride and daughter of Amanda and Tom Murphy.

Best man was Troy Irvine, brother of the groom, of Albert Lea. Groomsmen were Trent Miller, friend of the groom, of St. Louis Park, Ryan Moore, friend of the groom, of Minneapolis, Conner Keyeski, friend of the groom, of Roeland Park, Kan., and Ethan Weiss, brother of the bride, of Le Grand, Iowa. Junior groomsman was Max Irvine, nephew of the groom and son of Troy and Kristine Irvine of Albert Lea. Ring bearers were Charlie Irvine, nephew of the groom and son of Troy and Kristine Irvine of Albert Lea, and Sam and Saywer McGill, nephews of the groom and sons of Heidi and Clint McGill of Albert Lea.

Ushers were Kristine Yost, friend of the bride, of Burnsville, Amanda Murphy, friend of the bride, of Austin, Kurtis Bohrnstedt, friend of the groom, of Seattle, Wash., and Clint McGill, brother-in-law of the groom, of Albert Lea.

The soloist was John Deyo, cousin of the bride, of Austin.

The organist was Rebeka Rousa.

Personal attendants were Kristine Irvine, sister-in-law of the groom, of Albert Lea, and Danielle Corsaut, friend of the bride, of Des Moines.

Readers were Haley Gilbertson, friend of the bride, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Nathan Cooper, friend of the bride, of Des Moines.

Host and hostesses were Angie and Alex Johnston, friend of the couple, of Albert Lea, and Cari and Chris Goldman, aunt and uncle of the bride, of New Market.

Guest book attendant was Cara Gustafson, cousin of the groom, of St. Paul.

Candle lighters were Ryan and Alex Goldman, cousins of the bride and sons of Chris and Cari Goldman, of New Market.

Gift attendants were Kathy and Odean Nelson, aunt and uncle of the bride, of Albert Lea and Mike and Mary Nelson, aunt and uncle of the groom, of Albert Lea.

Decorators were JoAnn Greeley, cousin of the bride, of Mason City, and Val Foss, cousin of the bride, of Northwood.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Glenville-Emmons High School and a 2009 graduate of Waldorf College in Forest City. She is employed with the United Way of Freeborn County.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2010 graduate of Metropolitan State University in St. Paul. He is employed as a financial adviser for Edward Jones.

A reception and dance followed the wedding at America’s Best Value Inn.

The DJ was Nick Werner of Hastings.

The couple took a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, in November.
