The Albert Lea wrestling team won nine of 14 matches Tuesday on the road at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown/Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton.

The Tigers won 45-24.

Albert Lea started off with pins by Zach Glazier and Gavin Ignaszewski, but at the 145-pound match, the score was tied at 15.

The Tigers responded by winning the next four matches and outscoring their opponent 30-9 from that point forward.

Santana Acosta, Devin Nelson, Tim Christianson and Will Mendez won by fall.

Beau Johnsrud, Dereck Samudio, and Tanner Palmer won by decision.
