MINNEAPOLIS — The family of a man shot and killed by Brooklyn Center police has filed a wrongful death lawsuit.
Twenty-four-year-old Edmond Fair was killed during a traffic stop last August. His family alleges Officer Ryan Soliday used excessive force when he shot Fair.
Soliday’s attorney, Paul Rogosheske said Fair was wanted for kidnapping, resisted police and tried to take a Taser and a gun from the arresting officers.
A grand jury recently decided against charges for Officer Soliday.
