A group of 25 locals met Saturday morning to learn about a Southern Minnesota Family & Friends tour that leaves July 27 to Bergen, Norway, and returns Aug. 7 from Oslo, Norway.

The trip includes 12 days of travel by motor coach and train.

The same group organized a similar tour to Germany two years ago.

Southern Minnesota residents and their distant relatives are encouraged to join the group.

Individuals already planning to go are Steve and Annie Sprenger, Carol Sime, John and Peter Grafstrom, Mel and Tom Mattson, Pattie and John (Sime) Morley, Wes and Andrea Sime, Dale and Mary Songstad, Allan Halvorson, Anita Helland, Ted Yost, John Pershbacker, Gail Thurnau, Twyla Trytten, Steph Sprenger and Natalie Sime.
