Hy-Vee announced Monday it will offer transitional prescription benefits to new health care enrollees, according to a press release.
Individuals enrolled in a new insurance plan offered under the Affordable Care Act who have not yet received a personal identification number will be eligible to receive a 30-day supply of prescriptions at no upfront cost. This benefit will be in effect through the end of January.
Hy-Vee’s transitional prescriptional benefit is intended to help bridge the gap between enrollment and receipt of insurance documentation as new insurance cards and plan information is received by individuals.
