Marcella “Sally” Lindsey, a longtime resident of Albert Lea, died peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, in Ankeny, Iowa.

A funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. A visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leonard F. Lindsey.

She is survived by her children Virginia (Paul) Knudtson, Patricia (Alan Goggins), Leonard J. “Len,” Jeffrey (Lorraine) and Michael (Daniel Duwe); five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Memorial Services of Iowa is handling arrangements.
