MINNEAPOLIS — A Minnesota militia member indicted in what the FBI once called a “terror plot” is expected to plead guilty.

Twenty-five-year-old Buford Braden Rogers is scheduled to enter his plea this afternoon in U.S. District Court.

He has been indicted on four counts, including charges related to possessing Molotov cocktails. He is not charged with terrorism.

Authorities have said he was part of a tiny militia plotting to blow up the Montevideo police station. At the time of his arrest, FBI officials said they believed they stopped an attack in its planning stages.

According to a transcript of a May 3 interview with the FBI, Rogers told authorities he was not violent and didn’t know of anyone planning an attack.
