Nancy Johnson, 50, Winder, Ga.

Nancy Jane Johnson, 50, of Winder, Ga., entered into rest Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Smith Memory chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service today.

Nancy was born to Jacqueline D. Richie and Paul J. Richie on Dec. 14, 1963, in Mankato. Nancy’s family moved to Albert Lea in 1972. She graduated from Albert Lea Senior High in 1982, and in 1984 she married Paul “PJ” Johnson.

On Oct.16, 1986, her daughter, Emily Dae Johnson, was born. Nancy has lived in Georgia since 1996. She worked for J&R Schugel Trucking from 1993 until her death. Nancy had many friends and countless people that loved her.

Survivors include her daughter, Emily Dae Johnson; father of their daughter, Paul Johnson; mother, Jacqueline D. Richie; father, Paul J. Richie and wife, Carolyn; sister, Jenny Fitzlaff and her husband, Troy Fitzlaff, and their children Allison Fitzlaff and Aaron Fitzlaff; brother, Tony Richie, and his son, Bryce Richie; her special partner, Tony Burnette; and  Lloyd Johnson and family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her grandma Martin and grandma Richie.
