Terry Erickson, 61, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Terry Lynn Erickson of Albert Lea will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bonnerup Funeral Service. The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery in the spring.

Terry died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea. He was 61 years of age.

Terry was born Oct. 12, 1952, in Albert Lea, the son of Daniel and Lorraine (Melvin) Erickson. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and was a Freeborn County resident all of his life.

Terry was confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea and had been employed by Imperial Chemical and in sales with Budach Implement in Albert Lea.

In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and garage sales. He was a major history buff.

Terry is survived by his mother, Lorraine, of Albert Lea; sisters Karen (Russ) Erickson of Glenville and Kathy (David) Register of Albert Lea; nieces and nephews Wade (Karen) Erickson, Jenny (Tom) Habana, Tara (Mike) Register, Tiffany (Tyler) Larsen and Lori Shaunce; great nieces and nephews Alyssa, Sara and Samantha Erickson, Tyler, Noah and Jordan Habana and Taylor and Miya Larsen; sister-in-law, Sheila Erickson of Muscatine, Iowa; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives.

His nieces and nephews were the love of his life!

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Daniel; and brother, Douglas.
