MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis father injured in a duplex fire that took the lives of five of his seven children has been released from the hospital.

Sixty-year-old Troy Lewis suffered smoke inhalation and injured his spine jumping from a second-story window Feb. 14 when the fire broke out. Lewis ran back inside and rescued 9-year-old Shaca and 5-year-old Electra. Shaca remains hospitalized in critical condition. Electra has been upgraded to satisfactory.
