Paul and Cindy Follmuth of Northwood announce the engagement of their daughter Carol Follmuth to Russell Vandell of Albert Lea.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Cindy Follmuth of Northwood.
The groom is the son of Dan and Carol Vandell of Medford, Ore.

The bride’s grandparents are Marion Follmuth and the late Berton Follmuth of Glenville and Lois Bogenschutz and the late Eldo Bogenschutz of Albert Lea.
The groom’s grandparents are the late Russell and Ruth Selvig of Northwood and the late Clement and Virginia of Medford.
Follmuth is a graduate of Northwood-Kensett High School and Buena Vista University with a degree in English. She is pursuing a graduate degree in school counseling at Buena Vista University.
Vandell is a graduate of Southern Oregon with a degree in marketing and management in aging services. He is employed with Vinco Inc. of Forest Lake.
A May 24, 2014, wedding is planned in Albert Lea.
