Bike summit to take place Wednesday

Bicycle advocates from around Minnesota will gather Wednesday in St. Paul to address issues of cycling in Minnesota.

We must gather in numbers to prove to our elected leaders that cycling is essential to the health of individuals, communities, the environment and our economy,” a statement from the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota says.

 

Summit schedule

9 a.m.: Registration, networking, continental breakfast

9:30 a.m.: Morning sessions and speakers at Christ Lutheran Church

Noon: Lunch (included) and speakers

9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Attendees meet with legislators

Cost

The cost to attend the Bicycle Summit is $15 for BikeMN members, $20 for non-members and $25 at the door on the morning of the event. Register online by Tuesday.
