Car hits pig on I-35 ramp

A police report said a loose pig was hit while on the on-ramp for Exit 11 of Interstate 35 at 8:15 p.m. Thursday.

 

Woman arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Angela Marie Lea Lange, 25, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, driving after revocation and no proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 10:47 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Fenton Avenue and East Main Street.

 

Man injured after being hit by car

A man received minor injuries Thursday morning after he was reportedly hit by a car while walking across the street at 160 Bridge Ave.

 

Albert Lea police reports stated the man suffered an elbow injury. 

Police are expected to cite Kelly Jo Gleason, 53, by complaint for leaving the scene of an injury crash, a gross misdemeanor.

 

Vehicle damaged in Emmons

A vehicle was reported damaged at 9 p.m. Thursday while parked at the American Legion, 121 Main St. in Emmons.

 

Man cited for meth

Albert Lea police cited Bill John Kimmers, 40, for fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine at 1:35 p.m. Thursday after receiving a request for a welfare check of the man.

 

Medication stolen from apartment

Medication was reported stolen from an apartment at 800 S. Fourth Ave. in Albert Lea at 2:28 p.m. Thursday.
