Snow falls on Albert Lea

Old Man Winter just won’t go away.
About 3 inches of snow fell on Albert Lea overnight, making for a messy commute to work this morning.
The National Weather Service said the snowfall was expected to diminish this morning as the storm moves northeast to the Great Lakes.
Albert Lea was in a winter weather advisory but places like Mankato, the Twin Cities and Hinckley were in a winter storm warning.
Mankato also saw 3 inches, according to reports. St. James had 5, Gaylord 6, Lakeville 4.7, Rochester 1, Rogers 9, St. Cloud 2, Cambridge 7.8 and St. Paul 7.
