Democrats buy votes with bonds

It’s nice to get the money for lake dredging, but what are the strings attached? U.S. Sen. Al Franken is running ads about shortage of workers in Minnesota. State Rep. Shannon Savick is touting the great status of the Minnesota economy.
Why then did the Democrats feel the need to raise the bonding bill from the agreed upon $850 million to over $1 billion? They say to create jobs, but I think they are using our future tax dollars and our children’s future dollars to buy votes in an election year where they feel vulnerable.
