MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota State Patrol says the motorist who allegedly brandished a gun at another driver on a Twin Cities highway turned out to be a federal agent.

The incident began about 6:40 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 694 in Brooklyn Park.

The man was questioned and released after officers learned he was a federal agent and was carrying proper credentials.
