The Retired Educators of Freeborn Country will have its spring meeting at noon Thursday at America’s Best Value Inn.

Chad Adams, Albert Lea city manager, will speak on what’s happening this spring and summer in Albert Lea.

A report from the Spring Conference on April 7 held in Rochester, which was attended by seven individuals, will be given.  Those attending were Karen and Ed Mikulich, Donna Widenhoefer, Patsy Munson, Rhoda Knutson, Imogene Attig and Sandra Perez.

Retired educators are encouraged to support Lilah Aas who will be riding in her 18th bicycle marathon in July.

All retired educators are welcomed into a group which exists to provide information and social connections important to retirees — pensions, health and safety.
