Gun stolen from rummage sale
Police received a report that a Smith & Wesson handgun was taken from a rummage sale at 2:32 p.m. Friday at 907 Cedar Ave. It has not yet been recovered.
Man arrested for drunken driving
Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies arrested Troy Martin Matz, 46, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and test refusal at 9:34 p.m. Monday at 103 E. Front St. in Hayward.
2 arrested for obstructing
Police arrested Allen Michael Jensen, 42, for fourth-degree assault and obstructing the legal process and Kristyn Sue Fredrickson, 33, for fifth-degree drug possession and obstructing at 7:13 p.m. Monday at the Albert Lea Salvation Army, 320 Court St.
2 arrested for violations
Albert Lea police arrested Michael Alexander James Camp for an order for protection violation and Cassidy Marie Leduc-Miller for possession of a controlled substance at 8:54 p.m. Monday at 610 E. Fourth St.
Residences broken into
A house was reported broken into at 1:57 p.m. Sunday at 202 E. 11th St. A safe and stereo were broken into.
A house was reported broken into at 5:03 p.m. Friday at 112 N. Second Ave. Two televisions — one 48 inches and one 52 inches — were taken.
An attempted break-in was reported at 9:53 a.m. Monday at the Northbridge Apartments, 810 Troy Road.
Woman arrested after reported assault
Police arrested Irma Aide Sanchez, 29, for felony strangulation and fifth-degree assault at 2:20 a.m. Sunday at 109 Lake Ave. after receiving a report of a man and woman fighting.
Hit-and-runs, damage reported
A Chevy Lumina was reported damaged at 2:02 p.m. Friday while parked at the Clark gas station at the intersection of South Broadway and East Front Street.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 10:43 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of 811 Plaza St.
A trampoline was reported cut at 10:36 p.m. Monday at 1611 Todd Ave.
Gasoline siphoned
Albert Lea police received a report at 5:50 a.m. Monday that about 25 gallons of diesel fuel was siphoned out of a truck at 2401 Myers Road.
Mailboxes damaged
Multiple mailboxes were reported damaged on Saturday on Plainview Lane.
Counterfeit bill reported
A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 9:04 p.m. Saturday at 906 W. Front St.
