Highway 65 between Garfield Avenue and Newton Avenue in Albert Lea has re-opened after flood waters receded, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The highway runs through Albert Lea between Fountain and Albert Lea lakes. The road had been closed and traffic was detoured since June 18.
