St. John’s Auxiliary
St. John’s Auxiliary met at 10:30 a.m. May 19 in St. John’s Chapel. Vice President Jan Jerdee welcomed everyone.
Pianist Irene Goskeson led the group in singing “Jesus Loves Me.”
Auxiliary secretary Bonnie Schneider and treasurer LeAnn Knutson gave their reports. They were approved as read.
Volunteer coordinator Carla Reichel reported 926 volunteer hours for April. Day Care had 36 hours, one You & Me Club and one sing-along.
Activities for June are:

• June 16: Auxiliary meeting with program by Bev Jackson Cotter
• June 27: Kent Larsen
Schneider read the names of residents celebrating May birthdays. “Happy Birthday” was sung.
Jerdee reported that the Auxiliary purchased a camera, large industrial skillet and donated money for the garden project. Monies were raised at the fundraiser dinner on Sept. 22.
The meeting was adjourned, and the Lord’s Prayer was said.
The program was given by 80 fourth- and fifth-graders from all four elementary schools.
