ST. PAUL — Roundy’s is transferring 18 Rainbow Foods stores in the Twin Cities to new owners in the next two weeks.
The Milwaukee company is selling the 18 stores to a group of buyers, including Cub Foods and Lunds-Byerly’s. Reports said ten stores will become Cub Foods locations and two will become Byerly’s.
Roundy’s is also selling its nine remaining Minnesota stores. The company has previously said it will close the stores this year if it can’t find a buyer.
