Burglaries, damage reported
Albert Lea police received a report at 12:34 a.m. Monday of a burglary at 811 Frank Ave.
Police received a report at 2:23 a.m. Monday that an apartment at Shady Oaks, 800 S. Fourth Ave., had been ransacked.
Damage was reported at 8:41 a.m. Monday at Church Offset Printing, 1731 Margaretha Ave. It appeared someone had attempted to break in.
A window pane was reported broken out at 10:48 p.m. Monday at 1206 W. Front St.
Thefts reported
A checkbook was reported stolen at 3:18 p.m. Monday from 414 Maurice Ave.
A phone was reported stolen at 5:03 p.m. Monday from 206 W. College St.
Police arrested Sky Rippentrop for theft at 3:54 p.m. Monday from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
Man arrested for assault
Police arrested Samuel Gach Biee, 42, for fifth-degree domestic assault at 1:06 p.m. Monday at 1855 W. Ninth St.
1 arrested for drug possession
Police arrested Kathy Marie Attig, 50, for fifth-degree drug possession at 2:22 p.m. Monday at 408 S. Broadway.
Girl cited for assault
Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies cited an 11-year-old girl for fifth-degree assault after receiving multiple reports throughout the day on Monday that the girl was assaulting others at the Hayward Group Home 80880 Freeborn County Road 46.
1 cited for marijuana
Police cited Tevin Richard Lestrud, 20, for possession of marijuana at 12:51 a.m. today near the intersection of St. Thomas Avenue and Johnson Street.
Suspicious man reported
Police received a report at 1:28 a.m. today of a male peering into a window at 1137 S. Broadway.
