ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Supreme Court said a St. Paul attorney has been disbarred for stealing her client’s money and identity.
Sixty-two-year-old Linda Brost was accused of stealing $43,000 from the estate of a deceased client. She pleaded guilty last year to theft by swindle and identity theft.
Brost, who now lives in Spooner, Wis., also failed to cooperate in an investigation by the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility. The office filed a disciplinary petition against her in December.
Brost was indefinitely suspended from practicing law in 2009.
