The no wake restriction on Fountain Lake was lifted Wednesday night, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

The restriction had been in place since the middle of June when the area suffered from severe storms and heavy rains.

The Sheriff’s Office asked boaters to use precaution as water levels remain higher than typical levels. Partially submerged docks, tree limbs and other floating debris may remain.

The news release said the no wake signs posted will be taken down.
