I was born and raised in Albert Lea. I still have family there. My question: How deep is Fountain Lake? Thank you.

Editor’s note: The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office lake patrol says the deepest location is south of the Hatch Bridge, where depth finders show it to be 12 feet deep during normal water levels. However, the typical water depth found on Fountain Lake away from shore is between 5 and 8 feet, the lake patrol says.
