The Straight River rest area facilities for southbound Interstate 35 motorists re-opened Wednesday after a well pump was repaired, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The rest area, seven miles south of Owatonna, is at mile marker 35 in Steele County. The indoor rest area facilities were temporarily closed earlier this week for the repairs, but motorists were able to park at the site.
