Annette Kleinschrodt and Matthew Kleinschrodt, both of Albert Lea, announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Kleinschrodt, to Joseph Nepodal. Joseph is the son of Chris and Gerald Nepodal of Platte, S.D.

The bride is a 2010 Albert Lea High School graduate and graduated from South Dakota State University in December 2013 with a horticulture major and a botany minor.

The groom is a 2009 Platte-Geddes High School graduate and graduated from South Dakota State University in 2013 with a vocal music elementary major. He works in Mitchell, S.D., as an elementary school teacher.

A wedding is planned for Aug. 9, 2014, at Albert Lea Assembly of God.
