MANKATO — Cordarrelle Patterson and Captain Munnerlyn made their training camp debuts for the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday after missing the first four days with injuries.
Munnerlyn, the free agent cornerback from Carolina, was activated from the physically unable to perform list. He was on the list as a precaution because of a minor hamstring injury and eased his way back with a light practice on Wednesday.
Patterson, the team’s dynamic second-year receiver and kick returner, had missed time with a foot injury. He was able to participate fully in team activities on Wednesday and figures to be back up to full speed sooner than Munnerlyn.
The Vikings also lost defensive back Robert Blanton with a hamstring injury. Blanton was injured on Monday night and could miss several weeks.
