Affidavit filing dates for three positions on the Albert Lea school board have been set for July 29 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 12.

The election will be Nov. 4. Three members will be elected and serve a four-year term each.

Candidates interested in filing must be an eligible voter, at least 21 years old upon assuming office, a resident of the school district for at least 30 days and must not have any other affidavit on file for any other office for the same election.

The filing fee for this office is $2.

Affidavits of candidacy are available at the Brookside Education Center, 211 W. Richway Drive.

All affidavits must be filled out and filing fees paid by 5 p.m. on Aug. 12.
