2 injured in crash

HAYWARD — A two-vehicle traffic crash with injuries was reported at 4:58 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Freeborn County roads 30 and 19, southeast of Hayward on the border of the Hayward and Oakland townships. The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded. The log stated two people were transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin. No other information was available as of press time.

 

Burglary reported

A burglary was reported at 8:09 a.m. Thursday at 20537 720th Ave., Albert Lea.

 

1 cited for underage drinking

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Dillon Douglas Sprague, 20, for underage drinking at 11:39 p.m. Thursday at the Freeborn County Fair, 1105 Bridge Ave.

 

Thefts reported

An iPod was reported stolen at 11:50 p.m. Thursday from the Freeborn County Fair.

Albert Lea police cited Shari Lynn Farr, 50, for theft at 11:44 a.m. Thursday from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

ID cards and a debit card was reported stolen from a purse at 10:31 a.m. Thursday at 527 Triangle Drive.

A gas drive-off was reported at 8:05 a.m. Thursday at the Cenex gas station, 601 N. Star Lane, Hartland. The theft was estimated at $12.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Yoshio Joshua Herrera, 27, on a local warrant after a traffic stop at 8:42 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of South Third Avenue and Belmont Street.
